Planned a lovely time for all of our family and friends. And when I say planned…let me be clear: My role is never the food part. In case you’ve forgotten or have just met me…I do NOT enjoy cooking. Uh uh. Nope. I do not. At all. I like eating though…so sometimes that’s a problem. But not on Thanksgiving. Other people cook. And they kill it every single year. And for that, I am thankful. I just decorate. Because I believe your surroundings can surely add to the experience.
So, because I didn’t do anything else but decorate…here are a few pics from the tables.
It all started with the leaf placemats we found at Bed Bath & Beyond years ago…which inspired my fall foliage request from Mark’s Garden who ALWAYS knows exactly what I’m asking for. Gorgeous.
From the 17 year old…”Simple…but not”. Ok. I kept the dish and glassware very simple and let the center be busy. So, yes.
Found and gathered tables. Pumpkins leftover from Halloween party, candle and votive holders gathered from around the house are stacked for different levels
Sigh…I love a tall arrangement for the buffet. Looking at everything that went into this…Dreamy. #FlowerGeek
So many guests that I used all of the different colored napkins…just unifying them with a small flower (which I plucked from those florals at the last minute!)
